Jan 28 2012 New Gallery Layout!

The past gallery layout had been up for more than a year, if I'm not mistaken, so even though I really liked it, I thought it was time for a change. There's a new layout in the gallery made by me. I used the pictures from the photoshoot Abbie did for Filler magazine, which are just amazing. I hope you enjoy the new look!

Jan 27 2012 "Smash" World Premiere

Abigail attended the "Smash" world premiere yesterday, January 26th, in New York City. She showed up wearing a Nanette Lepore dress and Steve Madden pumps. She looks amazing, don't you think? I've added over 30 pictures to the gallery, in case you want to check them out.

Jan 23 2012 Filler Magazine (New Photoshoot!)

Abbie did an interview and photoshoot for the December issue of Filler magazine. The photoshoot pictures were taken by Kate Orne. I've got to say, this has to be one of my favorite Abbie photoshoots ever. The pictures can be found in our gallery!

A poised interview subject and an exhilarated fashion model, Breslin is simultaneously a cultivated young lady who answers questions with meditated, no-frills honesty (asked if working primarily with adults has sped up her maturity she replies, “What maturity? Seriously, I don’t see myself as any more or any less than my friends.”), and a giddy teen who gets excited when she talks about the mall — “any kind of mall.” Hardly the eccentric and quirky Olive we met on screen in 2006. “I think of her now as my little sister,” says Breslin of her past character.

A glimpse at Breslin, hair elegantly pulled away from her face, in her stunning Marchesa party dress, at the opening of New Year’s Eve, affirms that our Little Miss Sunshine is a grown up — well, growing up — verified starlet.

FILLER caught up with its favourite bright young talent prior to the rush of promotion for her festive blockbuster. Here, Breslin talks about the trick to dodging typecasting, her potent tear ducts, and her love of all things music.

Dec 28 2011 New layout!

Abi and I decided the site needed a new layout (the last one had been up since April!), and after several days of hard work, it's finally up! This one was made by me, Dani, and my inspiration was New York City (as I hope you can tell).

In other updates, you will notice that the Tagboard has been removed from the sidebar. That's because in January it will no longer be free, and we didn't feel like it was worth paying for. You can always contact us using this form, so don't worry!

Dec 21 2011 New Movie: "Ender's Game"!

Amazing news: Abbie booked yet another film! This time it's an adaptation of the Sci-Fi book "Ender's Game". Harrison Ford, as well as young actors Hailee Steinfeld and Asa Butterfield are also starring. Production is set to start in 2012, and the movie is to be released on March 15th, 2013. You can read the press release here and a synopsis of the book/movie below. Congrats, Abigail!

In order to develop a secure defense against a hostile alien race’s next attack, government agencies breed child geniuses and train them as soldiers. A brilliant young boy, Andrew “Ender” Wiggin lives with his kind but distant parents, his sadistic brother Peter, and the person he loves more than anyone else, his sister Valentine. Peter and Valentine were candidates for the soldier-training program but didn’t make the cut–young Ender is the Wiggin drafted to the orbiting Battle School for rigorous military training.

Ender’s skills make him a leader in school and respected in the Battle Room, where children play at mock battles in zero gravity. Yet growing up in an artificial community of young soldiers, Ender suffers greatly from isolation, rivalry from his peers, pressure from the adult teachers, and an unsettling fear of the alien invaders. His psychological battles include loneliness, fear that he is becoming like the cruel brother he remembers, and fanning the flames of devotion to his beloved sister.

Is Ender the general Earth needs? But Ender is not the only result of the genetic experiments. The war with the Buggers has been raging for a hundred years, and the quest for the perfect general has been underway for almost as long. Ender’s two older siblings are every bit as unusual as he is, but in very different ways. Between the three of them lie the abilities to remake a world. If the world survives, that is.

Dec 12 2011 "Live! With Kelly" + More "New Year's Eve" Stills

Abigail was on "Live! With Kelly" promoting "New Year's Eve" a couple of days ago. She got interviewed by Kelly, the host, and by singer/actor/songwriter Josh Groban, who was there as a guest host. I've uploaded the video to YouTube (credit for it goes to Seb and Scott, over at The Celebrity City), and you can now watch it below.

Also, a small gallery update. I've added two new stills of Abbie as Hailey in "New Year's Eve". My favorite is the one where she's smiling. She looks glowing!
