BIOGRAPHY

Spencer Breslin was born on the 18th of May 1992 in New York City, NY, USA. He was first discovered and began acting at the age of just 3 years old. His television debut came in 1997 when he played the role of Fred Weber in TV Series "Soul man". After that, Spencer had a few guest spots in numerous television series including Law and Order, Trinity and Storm of the Century. After these small roles, Spencer hit the big time and played a younger version of Bruce Willis' character Rusty Duritz in 2000 Disney movie "The Kid". From this, Spencer went on to star in many more small independent movies such as "Ozzie" until he was cast in the sequel to hit movie "The Santa Clause". In 2002, he was cast to play Curtis the experimental elf in "The Santa Clause 2" alongside Hollywood actor Tim Allen. His next big movie was in 2003 when he was cast to play Conrad in the movie adaptation of the book "The Cat in the Hat" alongside Mike Myers and Dakota Fanning. Spencer's first role opposite younger sister, Abigail, (b. 1996) came in 2004, when along with Hayden Panettiere, the duo were cast to play orphaned children in "Raising Helen". This movie showed Spencer's ability to play the more emotional scenes and also showed his love and dedication for his younger sister.

Later in 2004, he won a small part in "The Princess Diaries 2: Royal Engagement" which meant that he got to work with Garry Marshall again, the infamous, talented director (Pretty Woman) with whom had previously worked with on "Raising Helen". From 2004 to 2005, Spencer played the role of Miles Barnett in television series "Center of the Universe". Then after that, he was reunited with actor Tim Allen to play Josh Douglas in movie "The Shaggy Dog" in 2006 and then later on in the year when he starred as Conrad again in the third of the series "The Santa Clause 3: The Escape Clause".

It currently seems that Spencer is now taking a well deserved rest as he has no more movies lined up for the moment. However, I am very sure that this does not mean the end of Spencer, oh no, he will be back on our screens very soon because this young, talented actor deserves to go far!.
