The Elephant Project

Abigail suuports an organization raising money for Alzheimer's disease called The Elephant Project. Visit the website for more information about the cause, and check out Abigail posing with the elephant in the gallery =) Thanks to Almi for bringing it to our attention.

The Elephant Project is an organization to raise money and awareness for the Alzheimer's Association. The elephant is the symbol of the project because there is a phrase that says, "elephants never forget," and in the fight against Alzheimer's disease, we are striving for those afflicted with it to "never forget".

"The Miracle Worker" and new picture

Posted on Apr 08 2010 by Abi

As you all know, "The Miracle Worker" has now closed on broadway, but be sure to check out the show's website as you can currently see a short video of some of the audience members opinions on the show. Abigail has some lovely things said about her, and you can even see a few small clips from the show =) I have also added 4 pictures of Abigail as Helen Keller to the gallery.
Finally, I sumbled accross another picture of Abigail from a previous photoshoot she did this year. Looks like it may have been a promotional shoot for "The Miracle Worker" as she appears in this picture with co-star Allison Pill. Check it out in the gallery.

"The Miracle Worker" closing performance

Posted on Apr 07 2010 by Abi

The last performance of "The Miracle Worker" was reviewed by an audience member/blogger and he had some amazing things to say about our girl. She was very highly praised for her performance as Helen Keller. It's such a shame the show had to close so early, sounds like she gave an outstanding performance.

Two people to watch out for and should have Tony nominations in my eyes are actress: Alison Pill and Abigail Breslin. These two performance were the heart of the show! Don't get me wrong the other actors were superb, but by nature of the writing, and the piece, these two characters naturally draw you in. These two amazing talents did more than give justice to the piece...I know you all know Abigail Breslin, best known from the movie "little Miss Sunshine"! This performance is so stellar, it is like a 40 year old veteran actress, is stuck in a little girls body! She was so superb, in it from the beginning to the end! She only says two words in the play, and yet she captivates you, and takes you to places emotionally that some adult actors couldn't even begin to do. This little girl is a star, and we all better watch out for her. She carried the show, and her Helen Keller, should go down in history, as one of the best!
